Mankato Area Public Schools is using Peachjar, a digital flyer management system. Through Peachjar, each school can share visually engaging e-flyers with its families, and outside organizations can send approved e-flyers to all families in the district. Families can click to sign up for activities and events directly from the e-flyer! Additionally, parents can forward e-flyers to friends and share them on social media to boost participation.
Examples of flyers and other documents that may be distributed through Peachjar:
Parents/guardians can be notified via email when the visually engaging flyers are posted, and can then access the flyers through the email link or via each school's Peachjar page.
If you provided your email address to your school on your student’s census information, a Peachjar account will be established for you. This is provided so that you can manage your account and flyer delivery preferences. You do not need to log in to receive or view e-flyers. If you did not provide your email address and would like to receive Peachjar e-flyers, let your school office know to add your email address to our student information system.
If you are not receiving emails from Peachjar, please make sure:
Your correct email address is on file with your school. Let your school office know to add your email address to our student information system.
The Peachjar emails are not going into your spam folder. To prevent the e-flyers from going into your spam folder, add “smsd@peachjar.com” to your email contacts.
Peachjar is used exclusively for distribution of school-approved flyers. Your email address will not be shared or used for any other purpose.
Families who wish to subscribe an additional email address, or staff members and others who wish to receive school and community flyers can sign up at peachjar.com using the following steps:
Click on "sign up" in the upper-right corner
Enter your email address and choose the appropriate account type.
Mankato Area Public Schools cooperates with community groups and organizations that sponsor activities of an educational/enrichment nature for students by distributing materials electronically via Peachjar. As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly, embrace innovative technology, and maintain fiscal responsibility, we have transitioned from paper to electronic flyer delivery. Flyers are distributed through email and posted to a webpage. The following information provides instructions and the protocols for using the Peachjar electronic flyer system.
Community Partners
To request flyer approval, follow the steps below. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to all parents and posted online. Paper flyers from outside organizations are not distributed.
IMPORTANT: Flyers are approved for groups located within the MAPS boundaries per board policy 904
Your flyer will automatically be submitted to the district office. District staff will review the material and approve or deny it based on the standards described above. Peachjar charges outside organizations a fee for this service that is typically less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers to each school.
Enrichment and community organizations are subject to Peachjar’s service fee when a flyer is posted to promote an activity or event with a participation fee. Peachjar's service fee also applies to activities that are held without charge, but may entice participants to join a fee-based program, or purchase products or services (e.g. a soccer league that offers free clinics).
Individual schools may post flyers for their site that promote information and events related to:
School
Parent-Teacher Organizations (PTOs)
Booster Clubs
This service is free. Each school site has its own Peachjar administrator who uploads these flyers. Please contact your school office if your flyer falls under one of the categories above.
