2022 MAPS Summer Program Registration

Summer Learning Academy Model
Students are recommended for summer school by their classroom teachers, and those recommendations are based on assessment data collected throughout the school year, with a focus on data collected this spring.  Students will receive reading AND math instruction every day.  Level I and II EL students will be served by EL teachers, in a mostly self-contained model, but there will also be push-in support for Level III and IV EL students who are in reading/math classrooms.  Two counselors will be on site every day to provide individual, small group, and whole group counseling support.  The goal of our summer programming is to close the academic achievement gap between students attending summer school and their peers.
