Federal Title Grants I, II, III

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), currently authorized as the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) of 2015, promotes student achievement through school and district reform. Title I, Part A programming provides supplemental educational services to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high quality education. Title II, Part A programming provide supplemental professional development for all MAPS teachers. Title III, Part A programming provides supplemental support for multilingual learners (MLLs). Federal Title programs are a part of the Teaching and Learning Department.

Our Mission Title I, Part A
Title I, Part A Programming provides customized support to identified schools impacted by poverty for the purpose of implementing and monitoring the requirements of the Every Student Succeeds Act.

  • reducing barriers to learning
  • effectively communicating with parents, community and staff
  • and by implementing Federal and State statutes to achieve strategic goals.
