Sealed bids in duplicate will be received by
for 2020 Exterior Wall Repairs at Dakota Meadows Middle School until 2:00 pm on January 21, 2020 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bidders are invited to attend. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. 
Bids shall be upon form provided in the Bidding Documents. Envelopes containing bids must be sealed and marked "2020 Exterior Wall Repairs at Dakota Meadows Middle School", with the name and address of the bidder, and the date and hour of the opening. Bids shall be delivered to:

The complete form shall be without alterations, additions, or erasures. All bids shall be on a lump sum basis. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bids.

Each bidder shall accompany the Bid Form with Bid Security and the Responsible Contractor's Affidavit as described in the Instructions to Bidders.

       Sealed Prime General Contract bids for I.S.D. #77 Mankato East High School Electrical Improvements will be received by the Owner at the office of the Owner, Tom Sager, Director,  Intergovernmental Center, 10 Civic Center Plaza, Suite 1, Mankato MN 56001 by mail or personal delivery until Thursday, February 06, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at which date and time the bids will be opened and read aloud.
       A prebid conference will be held Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. at the location of the Work.
       Project Scope:  Selective demolition and construction of electrical improvements and other Work indicated in the drawings and specifications.
       Bidders shall submit their proposal on the forms provided.  Proposal shall be filled in clearly and correctly with ink or other permanent format.  Proposal shall be signed in ink by the individual, members of the partnership, or by one or more officers of the corporation making the proposal.
       Drawings, specifications, and other Bidding Documents may also be obtained online at  If you do not already have a free membership, you may sign up for one to gain access to the documents.  The QuestCDN eBidDoc number is 6627545.  There will be a $25.00 non-refundable downloading fee to access a pdf copy of the documents online.
       Documents are viewable at both and free of charge.
       All bids shall be sealed in an opaque envelope upon which shall be plainly marked "BID ON I.S.D. NO. 77 MANKATO EAST HIGH SCHOOL ELECTRICAL IMPROVEMENTS – ANYTOWN, MINNESOTA" and the name of the bidder. If a bid is to be mailed, the bid envelope shall be sealed in a regular mailing envelope.  FAX and E-mail Bids will not be accepted.  The Owner reserves the right to hold and consider the bids for 30 days after the date of the bid opening.  Bids shall be accompanied by a cashiers check, bidder's bond, or certified check payable to MANKATO PUBLIC AREA SCHOOLS for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid including add-alternates.  A bidder's bond shall include certified copy of the power of attorney.
       The right to waive any informality in any bid and reject any or all bids is reserved to the Owner.
