Elementary Focus Schools
Innovative Learning in Mankato Area Public Schools
In MAPS, we’re proud to offer an innovative learning environment tailored to meet the diverse needs and interests of our students. Our district will now offer three elementary focus schools, each with a unique approach to education:
We offer:
- Neighborhood Schools include neighborhood students from their attendance boundaries as well as approved attendance area approved exceptions. These schools include Eagle Lake, Franklin, Hoover, Kennedy, Monroe, Roosevelt, and Washington.
- Neighborhood + Schools include neighborhood students from their attendance boundaries as well as students who have been approved through the application process. These schools include Jefferson and Rosa Parks.
- Community School includes students who have been selected through the application process as attendance boundaries do not exist for this school. This includes Bridges Community School.
